STRANGER PIC OF THE WEEK

This week we’re featuring the ‘Racer’ tank and the ’3/4 chino’ from WRKROOM.
The tank ( which we have in Yellow and Black) features a racer back; and, the chino can be rolled up to reveal a plaid lining. To get a closer look check our earlier blogs…
NEW ARRIVAL: 3SIXTEEN DENIM

We’re extremely happy about the arrival of the SL-100X jean from NYC brand 3Sixteen. These jeans mean business: made from 14oz. Japanese selvage denim, gunmetal rivets, and cut and sewn here in the states; even featuring a leather patch made by Portland’s Tanner Goods. This is an excellent pair for the denim collector; or if you just want a pair of sturdy well made jeans!

Commonwealth Utilities ‘Parker V’ shirt in Charcoal/Navy; $140
You’ve probably noticed that we’ve been advertising in Seattle’s local free culture newspaper,
The Stranger and using pictures from the various brands that we carry. This week we’ve chosen to feature the ‘Parker V’ from NY brand Commonwealth Utilities.
It’s a great tee with clever detailing: the fabric around the neck helps form a “v” on an otherwise scooped neck. Wear it dressed up with a pair of trousers; or keep it casual with a pair of flat front shorts or jeans…

NSF ‘Buster’ shirt, $165
This shirt is perfect for spring, it’s easy to throw on and the colors will go beautifully with your beat-up jeans or with a nice khaki.

EUBIQ ny ‘Caravan’ Jacket, $379
I’m a sucker for lightweight parkas, and Eubiq… Shirley Lee really knows how to make a killer jacket, the attention to detail is on point every season and just keeps on getting better.

LEVI’S Made and Crafted, ‘L01 Straight’ fit Raw Selvage, $198
I’m very excited for this line, I was a fan of Capital E but was very pleased to find out that this was replacing it. The fit on these will make anyones butt look great, plus $198 for a selvage jean this good is pretty hard to find.

GROWN & SEWN ‘+3 Signature Twill’ Khaki, $175
The construction on these is incredible, definitely the “it” khaki for spring or anyones wardrobe.

SEAVEES Buck, $150
Most comfortable Buck I’ve ever tried on, especially with the collapsible back you can just slip them on and go at your day with ease.
NEW ARRIVAL FROM SPIEWAK: THE WILDCAT JACKET

Spiewak ‘Wildcat’ nylon jacket in Black; $115
The newest arrival from Spiewak is the “Wildcat” nylon jacket: cut short and slim, this is an excellent piece to wear on its own with a tee or skinny hoody; or, to wear under a blazer.

Those of you who used to shop with us two doors down on 2nd ave. may remember Frankie Sharp. He was actually the second employee to ever work here; and now he lives in NYC and we hear from him from time to time. Currently he is a clothing rep for a high profile showroom; and now he’s been featured in the new Fall 2010 Jeremy Scott for Adidas campaign! Congrats to Frankie! We wish him much continued success….
