IAN SAYS GOODBYE AND THANK YOU TO FREMONT…

In lieu of the current economic climate, we’ve decided to shut down our Fremont Store and consolidate with our Downtown location.
We at ian have enjoyed our time in such an amazing neighborhood; but, we ultimately found it difficult to keep both stores open during this challenging period.
We’d like to thank the Fremont community and encourage you to visit us at our Downtown location located at 1919 2nd Ave. (between Stewart and Virginia, across from the Moore Theater). There you will find the same amazing brands for men and women that you’ve grown to love at Fremont; plus more great labels that may become your new favorites.
Once again, thank you and we look forward to seeing you downtown!

RVCA: a modern lifestyle

I am excited to introduce RVCA (pronounced ru-ka) for spring/summer at our Downtown location. Founded by PM Tenore this company has become a well known staple in the artist/skate/surf/bike community. The slim fit and basic graphics are perfect for any summer wardrobe. With the Leo Romero signature jean for only $85 and tees for $29, you can be stylish and still save a buck or two.

I love our store!
I love that we were brave enough to carry the more colorful and funkier pieces from Engineered Garments this season.
Daiki Suzuki, the designer, got inspiration from the other side of the fifties: the socialites (or “Socs” for you Outsiders fans), when people went to resorts and vacationed in Miami, Cuba, or somewhere else warm and wonderful .
We have shown you stunning prints from the mulitcolor plaid madras to the Indian block-print jackets and pants. This round isn’t any more different…

‘Newport’ short in Navy; $245 NOW $172 $85 (36 still available)These are way more beautiful up close. The hand on this fabric is incredible; and, the fit is like a dream. I know some of you may be afriad of the print; but, if you keep the rest of the outfit simple, it works…

(shown with EG polo and Andover jacket)

‘Work Shirt’ in Navy/Yellow Plaid Madras; $175 NOW $123 SOLD OUT A favorite staple among EG fans, the work shirt returns in a breezy madras…

Shoulder Tote in Olive (also available in Black);$145 NOW $98 SOLD OUT Sturdy and lightweight, this makes an excellent bag for books, shopping for groceries, and it even extends so you can carry a baguette or a of bottle wine…
Engineered Garments is also available via phone order

NEW DENIM @ IAN: J BRAND MEN’S

J Brand Denim for men has come to ian and they’re becoming a favorite of mine!!!
Revisited and restructured by famed Denim Doctor (now Denim Revival) owner Sean Hornbeak, the line features cuts reminiscent of classic Americana: boot cuts, greaser slims and relaxed 501-style straight legs…

‘Walker’ relaxed straight leg jean in Pacific; $179 Fashioned after a vintage-style 501, the fit is great for those guys who want a little more coverage in back and more room in the thigh…

‘Merrick’ bootcut jean in Gold Rush; $229 For our bootcut fan. Slim, but not super skinny; and, the wash is inspired by jeans that have been worn unwashed for 6 months left to fade on their own…

What started as just a signature on surfboards has turned into one of the most highly recognizable and iconic logos in modern street wear.
Stussy, ready to celebrate 30 years next year, has been worn by many a surfer, punk, surf punk, new waver, hip-hop head and regular joe from LA to New York; and has crossed the pond into many international fashion capitals such as Tokyo and London.

This season we are happy to announce that we’ll be carrying both Stussy and Stussy Deluxe at ian. Stussy, the original line, has just arrived and it looks really good with button ups, sweaters, jackets, cargos, and some bags just to name a few. Stussy Deluxe, its higher end streetwear line, is arriving soon. Pictures from both lines will be up so stay posted…
